Bruins’ Hicks Retired, Living in SoCal
Former UCLA running back Skip Hicks lives in Agoura Hills, CA, outside of Los Angeles where he is raising his young son, Kaleb.
“This is his first year to play tackle football,” Skip told the Wichita Falls Times Record News last fall. “I am now starting to understand what my parents went through.”
Hicks, 36, is sixth on the Bruins’ rushing list for both season (1,282) and career (3,140) yards. He is third in Pac-10 history with 55 career touchdowns (48 rushing TDs).
After college, Hicks played in the NFL for the Washington Redskins, Tennessee Titans and Carolina Panthers from 1998-2002, gaining 1,109 yards and 13 touchdowns during that period. He also played for the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts in 2004. Skip Hicks profile
