Taliaferro Elected Penn State Trustee

Comments

Penn State continues the cleansing process after the Jerry Sandusky scandal shook up State College.

It elected three new members to its university board of trustees, according to the Associated Press. Those new members include former Nittany Lions cornerback Adam Taliaferro.

Taliaferro suffered a career-ending spinal cord injury vs. Ohio State in 2000 that left him temporarily paralyzed. He is now an elected official in Gloucester County, NJ. The election that turned out 37,000 online voters also elected donor Anthony Lubrano and ex-U.S. Navy captain Ryan McCombie.

As for Taliaferro, there is no one better to help the school show perseverance through its tough times. Adam Taliaferro profile
