Report: Brown Hires Snow, Lynch at SMU

Comments

New SMU coach Larry Brown wants to rekindle those days on the bench with the Philadelphia 76ers.

According to CBSSports.com’s Jeff Goodman - who cited a source - Brown has hired two of his former players with the Sixers, Eric Snow and George Lynch, to different roles with the Mustangs.

The report said that Snow will be a player personnel man, while Lynch will be a strength and conditioning coach.

Both Lynch and Snow were on the 2000-01 Sixers team coach by Brown that went to the NBA Finals and lost to the Los Angeles Lakers. Brown also reportedly is interested in hiring former Sixer Derrick Coleman, who was not on that NBA Finals squad.
