LSU’s Claiborne Responds to Test Taunts

Mo Claiborne doesn’t put much stock in a test score.

The star cornerback who is expected to go in the Top 10 picks of this month’s NFL draft scored a four on his Wonderlic aptitude test, a result that was originally reported by Gainesville Sun columnist Pat Dooley.

Claiborne addressed those he deemed haters on Twitter.

“At the end of the day I will be a top 10 pick!” tweeted Claiborne, whose account is protected, according to USA Today. “... You guys don’t no me #Top10.”

We feel bad for Claiborne, who had a private score aired publicly and reportedly has a learning disability, but misspelling “know” will probably lead to another round of snarky comments.

To provide some perspective, Alabama’s Greg McElroy got a 48 out of 50 last year but ex-Texas QB Vince Young reportedly scored a six. A low score doesn’t necessarily mean doom on the playing field, but it no doubt is embarrassing to the player nonetheless.
