UK’s Kidd-Gilchrist Speaks on Stutter

Comments

Kentucky star freshman forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist spoke about his stuttering problem for the first time Sunday, according to Zags Blog.

“I work on a lot of things in life, like school, ball and it’s one of them,” Kidd-Gilchrist said. “It’s really nothing to me. I don’t even pay it no mind.

“It’s a part of me, so I can’t change it at all.”

Zags Blog said that, while the other Kentucky stars speak on the stage of the media rooms at the Final Four, Kidd-Gilchrist feels more comfortable addressing reporters in a more intimate way in the locker room.

Whether or not you cheer for Kentucky, Kidd-Gilchrist is a player we can all root for.
