It’s official. Arkansas fans are on Stage Three of the Five Stages of Grief: Bargaining.
A recently erected roadside sign presumably somewhere in Arkansas territory reads “Go Hogs: Please Beat Somebody.” Arkansas started the season ranked in the Top 10 and with national title hopes but is now 1-3 after losing to Louisiana-Monroe, Alabama and Rutgers in consecutive weeks.
The Razorbacks’ next two games are on the road, so rationale dictates that they’d be underdogs in both those contests. Meaning that if the odds hold, Arkansas’ Oct. 13 home game against Kentucky might be its best chance to make good on this request.
