A memo to the Arizona Wildcats’ training staff: If you have any concern for the welfare of your football players, do not allow QB Matt Scott back on the field again this season.
During the Wildcats’ 34–24 win at Utah on Saturday, Scott was seen puking on the field for the second time this season. It likely signifies the return of post-concussion symptoms he first exhibited earlier in the year against USC.
In the game against the Trojans, Scott lost his lunch after taking an illegal hit to the head but stayed in the game. Same with last night against the Utes. While we understand that Scott is a key component to the Wildcats’ offense, his health should always take precedent over Arizona’s desire to win.
