Alabama Fan Votes Saban for U.S. Prez

Crimson Tide fan and Tuscaloosa native Jon Chumbler was apparently unsatisfied with the presidential credentials of Barack Obama, Mitt Romney or any of the other four candidates on the 2012 U.S. Presidential ballot. So he cast a write-in vote for the only leader he trusts: Alabama head coach Nick Saban.

Chumbler snapped a picture of his ballot earlier this morning.

Chances are you’re wondering who Jay Seawell, Saban’s “running mate,” is. Seawell is the men’s golf coach at Alabama and is also the 2008 and 2012 SEC Golf Coach of the Year. Under his stewardship, the men’s team finished the 2012 season as national runners-up. Saban, meanwhile, is rolling toward his third national title in four years as Alabama’s football coach.

Chumbler clearly has a thing for winners when it comes to casting his vote – not to mention complete disregard for this year’s election (which goes without saying).

    Trust me Saban is better than the president we have now and I am an Auburn fan !!!!!

    I would have voted for him if I had only known….just to get him away from Bama!!  ;) )

    As much as I despise Obama for a million valid reasons,  Saban would have made a worse president, but I will concede one thing to him.  He would not put up with giving all these freebies to “lay-at-home” loafers who would not tale a job if offered one.

    If the USA was a football team then maybe, but having so many nuts living in the USA it would be hard to get a winning team.
