Akron cornerback Seth Cunningham chose an interesting way to enter people’s radars prior to his senior season: By being arrested for an alleged armed robbery of a $447 bong.
According to a report in the Medina-Gazette, Cunningham entered a 24-hour tobacco pipe store on Tuesday night in Brunswick, OH, where he proceeded to wave a 9mm handgun in the air. After that, he allegedly stole the bong in question before fleeing the store.
Brunswick police later spotted Cunningham sitting in his truck in the driveway of a nearby home, with the pipe and the handgun, at which time he admitted to the robbery.
Admit it: You’re probably just as curious as we are as to what a $447 bong looks like…
