Did Alabama QB AJ McCarron give in to what everyone was telling him and pop the question to his rising star girlfriend, Katherine Webb?
According to one very prominent media personality, he did. Martha Stewart tweeted out a photo of the couple at an event in New Orleans on Saturday night. Read the caption closely.

It could just be a case of mislabeling on Stewart’s part. (Note that Webb isn’t wearing an engagement ring in the above photo.) Webb had previously said that she was ready to say “yes” if McCarron proposed, but there wasn’t any news as to whether he had done so.
Let’s face it: While you can rely on Martha Stewart for her recipes or home decorating tips, it’s a stretch to rely on her for college football rumors.
