Texas A&M will be admitted as the newest member of the SEC under one condition – all Big 12 schools waive their rights to litigation on the matter, according to Orangebloods.com on Wednesday.
The report said that the condition placed on the process by the SEC was “in doubt” on Tuesday night despite SEC presidents voting to add the Aggies as the powerful conference’s 13th member.
The biggest school in question is Baylor, which is reportedly “seriously considering a lawsuit against the SEC.” Baylor posted a message on its website this week asking fans to call, write or e-mail other Texas schools to plead them to stay in the Big 12.

The school suggests that fans will be appealing to the state pride of those from Texas, Texas Tech and Texas A&M. That being said, it’s likely the Bears are a stumbling block for the Aggies’ anticipated move.
Sources also told Orangebloods.com that Big 12 schools have planned to discuss the matter Wednesday, the same day that the Aggies reportedly have planned to celebrate their move to the SEC.
Looks like they will have to put that on hold for at least one day.
