SDSU’s Turley Has More Words for Hoke

Former San Diego State and NFL lineman Kyle Turley still isn’t happy with new Michigan coach Brady Hoke.

Hoke coached at San Diego State the last two seasons and his departure angered Turley, who said in January: “I texted him last night a few choice words … this is exactly what I said to him: ‘I understand what you gotta do for you and yours, but just he same, ‘f— you and f— Michigan, go Aztecs and I hope you lose every damn game.’ ”

Well, Turley is still at it, talking to a Detroit radio station Tuesday in advance of the game between the Wolverines and Aztecs this Saturday in Ann Arbor.

“Coach Hoke will eat a big piece of crow and, who knows, maybe that dream job will turn into his worst nightmare because schools like Michigan don’t take losing to schools like San Diego State lightly,” he said in the interview.

We appreciate Turley’s loyalty to SDSU, but we can’t think of one coach in America who wouldn’t leave a Mountain West coaching job for Michigan.

Try telling that to Turley.

Deal with it. You didn’t b**** when coach left Ball State for SDSU. It’s self serving for you to run your mouth now.

Turley is a BUM!!!!! There are only a few coaches in the country that would not give their left arm to be the head coach at Michigan. SDSU was nothing before Brady Hoke got there….Kyle Turley, Trent Dilfer….yes….stellar NFL standouts.

Hey Jim, if you’re going to take a shot at SDSU and some of our alumni, at least have your facts STRAIGHT!
Trent Dilfer is not a former AZTEC. He attended Fresno St.

Kyle Turley is one to talk. He turned down a long-term deal to stay with the Saints and jumped ship to the Rams. Where was Turley’s allegiance to his team at this time? I believe he decided to take his own path in life. It seems to me that Turley is being a hypocrite towards his former coach. It is a publicity stunt to get his name out there now that he is no longer on the football field.
