Minnesota athletics has teamed up with the 1980s band Midnight Star and the result is, well, ridiculous.
The Gophers are trying to promote their “Gold Out” promotion for Saturday’s home game against Miami (OH), for which the school wants all its fans to wear gold to blanket TCF Bank Stadium in the school color.
To do so, Minnesota mascot Goldy Gopher provided a video to accompany Midnight Star’s song, “Midas Touch,” which reminds us that everything the group touches turns to gold. Check out the video below.
