If you needed any more proof that Alabama fans are little off their rockers, well, we have it for you below.

Check out the Crimson Tide-themed license plate complete with “Roll Tide Roll” on top and letters and a number that spell out “TBOCRY,” as in former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow weeping at the conclusion of the 2009 SEC Championship Game vs. Alabama on the Tide’s way to a national title.

This is just piling on for Tebow, who was recently demoted to third string on the Denver Broncos’ depth chart, sparking rumors of a trade or even his release from the team.

The best thing about this license plate is that the ‘O’ looks to be a zero, which we can only hope means that somebody already has the same license plate with the letter instead.

Has anyone seen Harvey Updyke’s car lately?

    I used to be a Tebow hater, but not anymore. I asked myself, “why do I hate this guy”? The answer I came up with is that I really don’t hate him…it’s the Tebow supporters like yourself that get under my skin. Yes, he was a great college QB…so was David Klingler, Heath Schuler, JaMarcus Russell, etc, etc. The common denominator in those three QB’s was that they, unlike Tebow, had the TOOLS to make it in the NFL, they just didn’t have it between the ears. There are a lot of really good college QB’s who come out of the college ranks every year who never get their shot in the NFL because they don’t have the tools. I don’t claim to have the expertise in judging players’ abilities of an NFL scout, but I do find it interesting that of all the people like yourself who claim that Tebow will excel if given the chance, NONE of them are NFL scouts. You want to make the excuse for Tebow that the reason he’s #3 on the Broncos’ depth chart is because the coaches are “haters” and he’s being “$#!% on”? Please…NFL stands for “not for long” as far as the coaches of losing teams are concerned; they’re going to put the best players on the field, period…it’s a matter of job security. The minute all you Tebow worshippers quit making him out to be the second coming of Jim Thorpe, the “haters” will quietly go away. Because it’s not really Tebow that they hate…it’s you.

    I was having dinner in Dothan last December and watched most guests wearing Bama or Auburn shirt. This was prior to their game. The amosphere was joyful and in good humor. never a mean spirit comment. i know one family of four daughters that when to FL, FL State, Auburn and Bama. Actually that ONE TAG is not representative of Alabama fans towards Tim Tebow and the Florida Gators, so you’re terribly wrong in your analysis. As a life long Bama fan I admire and respect the Gators and really like Tim Tebow. I was at the Senior Bowl in Mobile,Al when Tim was there and the amount of Bama fans waiting to get his autograph and meet him was as long if not longer as it was to meet the Bama players in the Senior Bowl. Most Alabama fans consider the Gators as equals and pull for each other when not playing one another. Nice attempt to portray an entire fan base and lame haters of the Florida team, sadly you failed miserably. I see most of your articles are targeting Alabama and Nick Saban, the hate is going to consume you and is very unhealthy. Roll Tide and Go Gators!

  I think you’re exactly right Jon. As a long time Gator fan I’ve always considered the majority of Bama fans to be classy. We lived in Ga for a while and I definitely can’t say the same thing about a lot of Bulldog followers. I knew a teenage Bama fan who lived in Ga and after FL had one of it’s 1st losses last season he put on his Facebook that it must really suck to be a Gator. He pretty much said that about every SEC team when they would lose. I told him the GA mentality had rubbed off on him and he was dishonoring his Bama roots. Nick Saban is a classy coach who takes no nonsense from his players and they respond by playing like a classy team. Thanks for your post and for being the right kind of fan!!

As a lover of football, especially SEC, your posts are very welcome. I love Tebow and the Gators plus all the competition that the SEC brings in all the sports. PS….I love the Roll Tide TV Commercials and not long ago my family and I had the greatest time when we stopped over in Alabama several times. Great State, Great Fans. I wouldn’t get all work up about Tebow crying on the sidelines I can’t tell you how many times in the past ten years I have seen ” manly” ball players and coaches of all sports specifically football and basketball crying after games or after they lose their HIGH paying jobs.
Just like tattoos, wearing extra long pants, wearing baseball caps in reverse, hair in pony-tails, being arrested and wearing long hair crying in sports is somehow ” cool”.
I guess Tom Hanks got it wrong when he said, ” There’s no crying in baseball”.

I am NOT a Florida fan, however, anyone who knows college football (and I do) will tell you Tim Tebow will go down in history as one of the top ten quarterbacks in college football the 21st century.
Just on dedication, motivation, and determination makes him # 1 all time. No he is NOT the best quarterback of all-time, but he wasn’t to shabby was he. Heisman Trophy and two national championships. Tell me something, what quarterback was better than him during his time at Florida? Give the kid the credit due him. Now as a pro, well that’s been a different thing all together. But he was still drafted in the first round.

As a long time Bama fan/follower/grad I have nothing but respect for Tim Tebow and only look at our opponents as such through the season. I have many family and friends who went to FLA and it is a fun, classy place. Our battles on the field are played by our grid iron men and should remain as such. I am from GA and don’t get the rivalry hate past game day for people you don’t even know. Sure I too get in the heat of the moment but that’s all it is and should be.

As a long time SEC fan and a Tennessee fan, I ALWAYS root for any SEC team when they play out of conference because I really think that the SEC is the premier college football league. UM and FSU gave the SEC a wide berth when invited to join because they saw how hard it was to win a National title while playing in this loaded league but hopefully one of our teams will be standing and receiving the trophy at the end of the BCS bowl. Would that be 6 straight BCS titles for the SEC?

I might not like another team in the SEC but they are our representatives outside the conference and I respect all the players even as they would beat up on the Big Orange. I respect the effort and the grace of the players. Wish I had that level of skill….Tebow will be fine but he might have to go to another team….I hear the Colts might be looking….

Tim Tebow could have taken an excellent Jr season. .one in which he virtually willed UF over Oklahoma in the NCG. .and jumped into the draft. But he stayed to see if UF could get that unbeaten season. Remember, he DIDN’T play defense against Alabama. The Gators scored enough points to win but Bama runners ruled the night. All credit goes to them. So they lost. Big deal. Two National Championships in THREE seasons ain’t a bad memory. Nor is one Heisman and should have been two. If he never makes it big in the NFL, neither did Pat Sullivan or a few other Heisman QBs. So far, he hasn’t been given an ample chance.

I’m hoping he does however just so turds like you won’t have anything else to bytch about. It’s obvious you have no life or you wouldn’t be wasting so many totally useless words on your miserable monologue. I stopped reading after two sentences.

I got my bachelor’s at UF, my master’s at FSU, and lived in Savannah and rooted for the GA Bulldogs. I never liked how crazy some guys get over their teams. Chill out, a good game between rivals is exciting and fun to watch.

He seems like a fine young man who is sincere in his beliefs but should not be deified. Do they actually have college level classes in the SEC (excluding Vanderbilt)? What is the value of an education and a degree from these vaunted institutes of higher learning? The Civil War was a huge mistake because the South is a totally different country whose greatest exports have been the Blues and Southern Rock.

How come athletes who lose in other championship games that show their disappointment by shedding a few tears don’t get this much disrespect? The answer is because Tim Tebow is arguably one of the best college athletes to play the game, and Alabama fans are still bitter that we sent them packing in the SEC championship game in ’08.
