Former Duke star Cherokee Parks has reportedly signed with France’s Aubenas. Yes, that Cherokee Parks.
The same Parks who won an NCAA title with Duke in 1992, was drafted into the NBA in 1995 and last played in the league in 2004. Yes, it’s also the same Parks who will turn 39 in October.
Parks played in the NBA for the Mavericks, Timberwolves, Grizzlies, Wizards, Clippers, Kings and Warriors, averaging just 4.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in his 10-year career.
Sportando reported that he returned to the gym recently to get in shape for a comeback in France. Aubenas is hardly a French powerhouse; it is a member of the country’s fourth division.
As you can see from the photo, Parks has added to his wide array of tattoos in retirement. This should be interesting. Cherokee Parks profile
