Maybe Texas A&M should have gone with a New Year’s Eve-style celebration, too.
Check the video below of the Aggies’ SEC welcome video, in which students went through each SEC team and performed their rallying cry – as in, “Hail State” for Mississippi State and a big Florida Gator Chomp.
The ending included A&M president R. Bowen Loftin telling the Aggies’ new foes that they should get used to the following: “Gig ‘em, Aggies!”
It was – how should we say this? … awful. There’s just something strange about someone in Texas A&M gear saying “Roll Tide!”
