Willie Lyles is on the verge of bringing down Oregon’s rising program. Now, Lyles has a connection to LSU and California, according to a report Saturday in the Oregonian.
The report said that Lyles, a Houston-based scout, billed LSU $6,000 and Cal $5,000 for a package similar to what he sold to Oregon for $25,000. The newspaper said that the packages include game and highlight film from 22 states.
According to the Oregonian, Cal’s invoice was titled Complete Scouting Services’ “2010 National Package,” the same as what a similar Oregon package was called. LSU’s invoice was called “2010 JUCO perState Package.”

Yahoo! Sports has reported that the NCAA interviewed Lyles for six hours last month. Lyles said that he never sold recruits, but it’s clear that his transactions will cause headaches for the aforementioned programs.
