For a 72-year-old man, ESPN’s Dick Vitale is pretty active on Twitter. But then again, Vitale has more energy than your average senior citizen.
That’s why we aren’t all that shocked that the legendary college basketball announcer gave rapper Kanye West a birthday shoutout – even dropping in a reference to Kanye’s new girlfriend, Kim Kardashian.
“Happy 35 @kanyewest as I am sure @kimkardashian will throw a big bash 4 her superstar guy!I wonder who he would take @KingJames or @kdtrey5?”
But that’s why we love Vitale; he even threw in a hoops question at the end, though we’re not quite sure what that has to do with Kanye’s birthday.
Either way, Dickie V, you always will be our superstar guy – with a capital G.
