Days after we tipped you off to the Cotton Bowl cake that highlighted a wedding between Texas and Oklahoma fans, it’s time for Syracuse to get in on the act.
Check the photo below of the winning Syracuse cake from a competition on the ‘Cuse blog Troy Nunes Is an Absolute Magician. It was deemed “The Great American ‘Cuse Cake-Off.”
Without doing much of a study of the process, it looks as if the blog had a cupcakes, cookies and pies bracket, non-Otto cake bracket, non-pro Otto cake bracket and pro-Otto cake bracket.
Of course, it was done march Madness style.
The Final Four was formed and the below Orange and blue Otto cake – a tribute to the school’s mascot – was the winner. Congratulations to an entrant named James, who was responsible for what is being called the “Greatest ‘Cuse Cake of All Time.”
