At least one South Carolina baseball fan took a cue from the Gamecocks’ football coach.
In Steve Spurrier’s needling fashion, a man held up a sign during an NCAA Regionals baseball matchup between South Carolina and Clemson that read: “West Virginia just scored again” with the school name in the form of the WVU logo.
That, of course, was in reference to the Mountaineers’ 70-33 trouncing of the Tigers in the Orange Bowl this past January. Check the photo below.
