It looks like Bobby Petrino is trying to make a clean break from Arkansas.
Yes, the Razorbacks are the ones who got rid of Petrino after the scandal that shook Fayetteville. But Petrino – whose residences hit the market and infamous motorcycle was put up for auction – now won’t be in need of his golf clubs and other miscellaneous items.
Check the photo below courtesy of Tiger Droppings, which shows a couple sets of golf clubs with Petrino’s name and former school etched on the bag. There also appears to be luggage and other carrying cases.
As first pointed out by Friends of the Program, the items were given to Goodwill in Springdale, AR. Busted Coverage reported that the Goodwill is auctioning off Petrino’s clubs and bags, which have a starting bid of $150.
We like the gesture by Petrino, but it makes us think that the unemployed coach dropped them off quickly on his way out of town – without slowing down the car.
