Carly Rae Jepsen has provided us with a song, “Call Me Maybe,” that just won’t fade away.
We’ve seen so many remixes to the song, including those at a TCU orientation and even someone who spliced together words that President Obama has said during speeches to form the lyrics to the song.
But now we’ve got the one to top them all. In the video below, an older Alabama fan mouthed the words to the song as he held up a bunch of props to go with it while wearing a No. 14 Tide jersey. He held up the numbers on the front when Jepsen sang, “So here’s my number …”
Most pathetically, though, the man also presents a handwritten sign that reads: “The other SEC boys & college football conferences boys chase me. RTR”
We don’t know where to start. Please go away, “Call Me Maybe,” and please come back college football season.
Fans have too much time on their hands.
