‘Bama-Auburn Room Is ‘House Divided’

We’ve heard about being on the fence, but the below photos take it to a new level with the Alabama-Auburn rivalry.

That’s supposedly a conference room at an office in Alabama that’s decorated half for the Crimson Tide and half for the Tigers. The carpet is a football field with, of course, the television sitting right on the 50-yard line.

One side of the 50 has seats with Alabama seat covers and Tide memorabilia on the wall, while the other side has the opposite. Check the photos below, in which you also will see faux national championship trophies and signs that say both “house divided roll tide” and “house divided war eagle.”

Only in Alabama.

I would never do this! Fortunately my wife and I are both devoted Tide fans, but I would rather have no paraphernalia at all than to allow my house to have a room polluted with that putrid, ugly blue and orange color scheme. And this is to say nothing of the fact that the room seems to give equal weighting to a team which has won 2 NC’s versus 14 for Bama. As Keith Jackson would say – “Whoa Nellie!!”

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! that hideous shade of orange isnt allowed in my house, but i think its very cool the way they set it up…both sides can enjoy the success of their team and still watch the games together…thanksgiving is prolly a riot at their house…ROOOOOLLLLL TIDE ROLL!!! ps: they need another NC trophy on the BAMA side, thankfully they wont need to make any room for another AU one for another what…56 years? lol

Agreed Ricardo—it would be like having a room that was half Notre Dame and half………..Purdue or Indiana.
