There’s no question that Oregon’s “Liquid Metal” Rose Bowl helmets are a hit with recruits. But apparently they also won favor from a dirt race driver.
Citing Hydro Graphics Inc., No 2-Minute Warning reported that driver Greg Walters is expected to wear a Ducks-inspired racing helmet like the ones pictured below.
Hydro Graphics said the following: “Greg was looking to dress up his brain bucket so ‘Hollywood’ could shine bright! Now go take the # 97 to the front!”
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
We’re not sure if Walters is a fan of Oregon’s football team or just a fan of its helmets. Either way, he will have a pretty fancy, um, brain bucket for an upcoming race.
