Late last month, there was perhaps one of the most-unlikely interactions in the history of Twitter between rapper Drake and Oklahoma State super-booster T. Boone Pickens.
T. Boone Pickens: “The first billion is a helluva lot harder RT @Drake: The first million is the hardest.”
Drake: “@boonepickens just stunted on me heavy.”
Yes, Drake was providing us with a cliche that some successful people use. And the 84-year-old Pickens responded with the ultimate comeback.
Of course, Les Miles described it best in an interview with ESPN.com on Tuesday, when he was informed of the interaction between the two: “First billion? That’s what I call major swagger.”
