The Jerry Sandusky trial has turned into a complete circus, and that was before the arrival of “Pedobear” on Wednesday.
The Patriot-News reported the bear – a person in a costume who mocks pedophiles – arrived outside the Centre County Courthouse and was swarmed by media members.
If you are not familiar with “Pedobear,” it’s a cartoon bear who “appears when people are writing creepy stuff about kids on the internet,” according to the San Francisco Chronicle. The bear that arrived Wednesday apparently is a costumed version of it that also happened to make an appearance at Penn State’s bowl game.
No, that picture below isn’t photoshopped; that’s actual media members trying to interview someone dressed up in a bear costume. What’s next – Pedobear taking the stand?
It’s been a surreal couple days at the courthouse in Bellefonte. Sandusky creepily just shrugged his shoulders with a smile on his face as he left the courthouse late last week while Sandusky’s lawyer, Joe Amendola, heinously joked the trial was like the soap opera “All My Children” on Tuesday. And now, Pedobear has arrived.
We cringe thinking what could happen next.
