Roadkill Uga Bulldog: GT Wedding Cake?

We’ve seen some pretty obsessed college sports fans over the years, but the below photo is rumored to be the wedding cake of a Georgia Tech fan.

Yes, that’s the depiction of Georgia’s Uga mascot bloodied and looking like roadkill to the Ramblin’ Wreck Ford Model A Sport coupe with intestines hanging out and an accompanying sign that reads: “To Hell With Georgia.” It’s pretty disturbing.

If this indeed is a wedding cake, what a way to commemorate your special day.

You stay classy, college football fans.

Inappropriate photos should also be deleted not just inappropriate comments. The photo of this “cake” is VERY disturbing and inappropriate and shouldn’t be shown on a site at all. I question whether the one who posted the photo on the internet even knows what inappropriate means. I am a Georgia fan but more than that I am an animal fan. This is totally uncalled for! Yes, people have their “rights” to do disturbing things like this but we as a people do not need to drag into the public eye. There are children who will accidentally come upon this photo and even though I am 51 years old, it disturbs me greatly! Take this photo off!!!!

    • Rob

You are the one who read the headline, clicked the link, and then read the article. How about you be responsible and pay better attention to what you are reading/looking at. There are far more “disturbing” and “inappropriate” things reported on everyday.

I live in Georgia. I am neither a UGA or GT fan. Do I find it funny? Yes. Do I find the CAKE offensive? Hell no. Why? Because it is a cake. Do I question their sanity for having as their wedding cake? Whole heartiedly, it could have atleast been a roadkill gator with the bulldog in his mouth! :P Roll Tide Roll!

      • Anonymous

I think you missed the point rob, you’re an idiot

        • Anonymous

          Nope. Chuck Testa.

          • Anonymous

In America people used to be free to be offended. Enjoy your freedom if your offended. And if your life is so dull and boring that you are ready to get up in arms over this grooms cake, that’s sad.

            • Anonymous

              I already said. Chuck Testa.

      • Deborah

Gee Rob, you don’t find a dismembered animal effigy offensive? How about a child? Is that okay as long as it’s wearing a rival team’s jersey? This cake’s designer is sick. Anyone who venerates cruelty is sick or intentionally idiotic.

      • ToddM43

Have to agree with Rob. Don’t like the pic, go to a different site. It is a little disturbing to be a wedding cake but I’m not the one getting married so more power to them.

      • Ryan

This article sucks. It wasn’t the wedding cake. It was the groom’s cake. He is a GT graduate as well as a UGa pharmacy school student. The bride is a UGa graduate.

    • THWG

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. i just wet myself a little. poor classless ugag fan has his feeling hurt. nobody believes you.

      • Poor techies…

You would wet yourself a bit, just like when you see a pretty girl. Win a few games before you talk too much.

    • TechFan

Oversensitive much? If it was the other way around would you be saying the same thing? If you can’t handle this, get off the internet. There is far worse out there.

      • FlySwatter

Only takes a fly swatter to handle a bug…wouldn’t be much to be offended over.

    • Spanky

Yeah, this just shows how completely obsessed tech fans are with UGA!! Heck, it’s even in your freaking fight song!! Here’s a fact: Tech’s first mascot was a bulldog…wonder where they got that idea!!

    • Spanky

Tech fans are used to delusional fantasy…I’m willing to bet that the cake did not match the Jedi-themed wedding!!

  • Anonymous

    wow, rob… you’re an idiot

  • UGARunsThisState

This is just sick… Only these nerds would do this… Georgia Tech fans remain the biggest d*****bags I have ever come in contact with.

    • GTFan#1

Oh but you probably work for a GT grad so… “UGARunsThisState” my butt.

  • THWG – Every day Every Way

I am a Tech fan I think this is very funny… sorry truth hurts. Just wish there was more reference to the Ramblin Wreck beign the one that ran him over…..

    • Anonymous

As in the truth that UGA has won like 9 of the past 10 vs GayTech?

      • College football exists.

you’re just mad because your UGA degree means you work for those with the GA Tech degrees.

Honestly, I thought GT students were smart enough to realize that college football is pointless. If you go to Tech. You live in Atlanta. Really, your team is the Falcons… and they would pound the Bulldogs into the dirt because they’re a pro team.

I mean, I think the cake is stupid, but it’s hardly offensive. If it was Florida Gator in the mouth of GA Bulldog (there’s no “w” in dog no matter how badly you want it) you guys would think it’s hilarious.

It’s a stupid cake, but it’s just a cake. If this offends you, then you’re too sensitive.

    • Deborah

Replace the dog with a child’s doll, representing a small child. Still funny? Cruelty is offensive. Grow up.

      • ToddM43

Deborah, get a grip on yourself. Why the heck would a wedding cake depict a child in this position? This is simply college rivals being college rivals. No real animals were injured in the making of this picture or wedding. Ok, I really can;t verify the part about no one getting hurt in the wedding.

      • CHP

        DOG- FOUR LEGGED
        PEOPLE- TWO LEGGED

I WOULD HATE TO SEE A CHILD RAN OVER BY A CAR, AND I HAVE. A DOG, NOT SO MUCH. I HAVE SEEN BOTH IN MY LIFE TIME. “IT IS A DOG” NOT A PERSON. GET OVER IT. CHILD AND A DOG ARE NOT EVEN ON THE SAME PAGE HERE. IF YOU SEE A DOG AS THE SAME AS PEOPLE YOU NEED TO RETHINK YOUR LIFE.

  • GT fan

    I love it!

  • UGA Trailer Park Fan

    Roadkill iz gud to eatz.

  • TiFi

    Petrino strikes again

  • Anonymous

There is no need to be upset.

  • Common Sense

It’s a cake people. Get over it.

I guess the photo needs a disclaimer reading “no animals were harmed in the making of this cake”.

  • to Liz

thats a cake.. not a real animal

  • JM

Pictures/action figures of one mascot abusing their rival mascot are unbelievably common. This takes it to the next level, but IMO its not really any worse. Nobody is actually promoting any harm to animals, it’s a JOKE.

  • Dave

    @Elizabeth
You do realize that’s not actually a real dog, right? Lighten up – many people would be offended that your school uses a live animal as a mascot

    • Leon

      @Dave

What is wrong with using a live animal exactly? That dog lives better than most people on this planet.

    • Rich

I don’t see why people can find it offensive that schools use live animals as a mascot. Uga is taken care of by a very successful family and most likely is given better medical treatment and food than most people. Also schools like Auburn and LSU use rescue animals as mascots meaning they cannot be returned to the wild.

People need to do some research before making baseless accusations of animal abuse.

  • Al Ciraldo

Growing up in south Georgia and seeing those idiotic, redneck UGA fans and the way they act, that is too funny!!!! Go Jackets!!!! And, no, “Runs this state”….UGA has the WORST fans in all of college football….mainly because the vast majority of the leg humpers have never set foot inside a college classroom….unless it was with a broom and mop.

    • KJ

LOL @ someone from south GA calling someone else a redneck.

Yes, nothing like an unbiased NATS fan calling UGA the worst fans in college football. Nobody agrees with you except the other butthurt 1-10 losers.

  • rah59

    Elizabeth, get a life it’s a cake!

  • chris

What idiots would have this as their wedding cake? What a way to celebrate your big day..lol

  • chris

I have to admit good idea from a Tech fan. It was almost as good as mine where I am putting a Tech logo at the bottom of my toliet. That way ever time I take a crap it falls exactly where it shoud.

    • Al Ciraldo

Can’t spell “should.” Yep, you are a doggie. And congrads on the toilet…most UGA fans use the ole outhouse.

      • Anonymous

Can’t spell “congrats”? Irony award for you, Tech grads do it with hubris.

      • Dr. Bob

And you can’t spell either . Congrats, not congrads. Yes, you’re an a$$h***!! Crawl back under your rock until you pick up your unemployment check.

  • Christopher

It’s gross but still funny. Fans do this type of thing, especially in the South where football is a religion.
Get a grip. It’s a cake. I’d prefer to see a crimson-colored elephant with its guts hanging out, but hey, that’s just me.

  • Silver Britches

Eh. . . I can’t get too bent out of shape over this.

    Because we own them.

  • GT Disliker

I like it. I went to UGA and have season tickets to this day. I watch cake boss and have a sense of humor! ( IT isn’t a wedding cake BTW). But this is funny IMO.

Can’t we all just find this funny?

  • Bro Rogan

It’s hilarious to me that it takes something like this for GT to get a rise out of UGA fans. Enjoy being completely dominated on the field EVERY SINGLE NOVEMBER, nerds.

    • Al Ciraldo

      Better a nerd than a UGA t_ _ d.

      • SMH

        Go back to kindergarten, please.

  • JP

You probably work for a Tech grad…” No, we probably don’t. Most of us work in Georgia, not Mumbai.

    • KJ

      lolllllllllllllllllllllllll

      thank you, come again

  • ACM

I bet a lot of people at that wedding had a big laugh. At the groom!!! If you can’t beat them on the football field then beat them at the cake groomers…lol..

  • GTMOM

After seeing some of the stuff UGA fans come up with when they come to Ga Tech this is nothing. it might be kind of hard to eat the cake but it’s funny! Go Tech!

  • Brad Bolton

That was indeed my groom’s cake. All in good fun of course. Get over yourselves…and TO HELP WITH GEORGIA! Now, I’m off to Paris for my honeymoon.

    • Brad Bolton

Stupid Spellcheck! TO HELL WITH GEORGIA!

    • FishFry

I find it ironic, since it’s Tech who usually gets run over in this game every year. Oh, and you’re pretty much obsessed. The amount of d***-envy displayed in that cake has me laughing at GT fans. Have fun on your honeymoon, little brother.

    • Deborah

Your parents must be so proud.

    • Chuck

What did the other groom’s cake look like?

      NTTAWWT, just curious

    • ToddM43

I don’t know if this was really your wedding cake or not Brad, but I am really happy to see GT and UGA taking so much interest in each other. Maybe you could get together and make one team so you could actually compete with ALABAMA!!! And whoever said UGA has the worst fans obviously has NOT been to LSU!!!

    • Ben

“Good fun” is a depiction of an animal getting mutilated? I hope you don’t own any pets.

  • UGA98

“Brad” says this was his groom’s cake. That pretty much explains it.

  • Mark

All these whiny women should go join PETA. I hear it’s awesome!

  • Tech fan

I am a Tech fan and approve this cake. Come on people, this is a groom’s cake. It is supposed to be retarded, whoops did I offend someone?

  • PnG

    UGAy fans are ultra sensitive.

  • Tech Stinx!

As a UGA fan, I’m not too overly worried about this. The geeks at the North Avenue Trade School are jealous of their superiors in Athens. UGA won the SEC men’s hoops on their floor after a tornado ripped the Dome and Mark Richt has owned Bumble Bees 9 out of 10 years (would have been 10 straight if Stafford hadn’t thrown a pick six). Keep it in perspective, folks. Stay classy and Hunk Down, Dawgs!

    • Al Ciraldo

UGA and it’s fans are NOT superior to anybody, anything, at any time. Just check out the U.S. News rankings every single year.

      • Tech Stinx!

Gee, Al Ciraldo, I thought this was a UGA-GT discussion. I thought I said that those in Athens were superior to those on North Avenue. I didn’t know that this was a national debate. Now I have to find said U.S. News, sift through the liberal crap to find your precious rankings.

Oh yeah, you failed to mention who you are a fan/alum of? That might add creditability to your argument.

        • KJ

He’s a NATS fan. Also Al, “its” in that context doesn’t have an apostrophe. But you’d know that if you actually went to Tech, rather than Chattahoochee Tech.

  • RedandBlackDAWG

If you can’t beat them on the field, you might as well try and beat them with the batter.

  • Anonymous

i live in indiana, that is hilarious

  • Hunting Dawg

I find the cake to be funny. A GT alum/fan chose to have this as his groom cake and it’s my understanding that he married a UGA alum/fan. The bride’s parents probably weren’t to thrilled to be paying for the wedding and having that next to the wedding cake. In any event, it is just a cake and I applaud the cake maker for a job well done. I think the red icing that served as intestines would be real tasty. Now, for all of the overly sensitive animal lovers, I can’t wait till deer season! That goes for the overly sensitive animal loving Dawg and Jacket fans. THWGT! Go Dawgs! Have a nice day! Go hug your pet! Hasta la vista Baby! Adios! C’est la vie! Mon dieu!

  • Speedy

    GREAT Bulletin Board Material.
Please keep stuff like this coming!
These kind of images, etc., help insure that
UGA will continue to DOMINATE the rivalry!

  • UGA fan

This is what 1 win every 10 years will do to a poor, win deprived, program depleted GT fan. Funny cake though.

  • psycock

That is simply awful – some people have no sense of decency. It is really sad that someone could find this funny.

  • Brad Bolton

Well, my wife is an avid Georgia fan. She was awesome to let me have that as my grooms cake.

    TO HELL WITH GEORGIA!

    • RedandBlackDAWG

If you supposedly just got married, I am sure your wife finds it delightful, that you are spending time on a blog patting yourself on having made a cake, depicting the UGA DAWG being run over. However, ummmmm, there might be a few ways you could spend your time on a honeymoon.
Forget Betty7 Crocker, and read up on Masters and Johnson a little, if you need a hint.

      • KJ

To be fair, since he’s a Techie, he’s probably not familiar with the lady parts yet. Perhaps a groom’s cake depicting the female reproductive system would have been more apropos.

    • Lost Lettermen

      Hi Brad-
We at Lost Lettermen would like to do an interview with you about your cake that has caused such a stir on this site and others. Can you e-mail me at Anthony.Olivieri@gmail.com and let me know if you are interested? It shouldn’t take up much of your time.

      Thanks.

  • FW

A cake of a dead mascot is less offensive than the bottle thrown at my friend’s head for wearing a gold shirt in Athens.

    UGA sucks.

  • UGA’s Veterinarian

We conducted an autopsy and between that and the eyewitness reports, we’ve come to the conclusion that the bulldwag in question could no longer take the constant incestuous inbreed and bestiality that he was subject to on a daily basis. He flung himself into traffic of his own free will.

  • Ghost of Larry Munson

    Boo!

  • SwagMasterFilthMcNasty

This cake is maybe one of the funniest things I have ever seen. It isn’t infringing on any one’s rights, now one, and no animal was harmed in the making of it and, frankly, it was probably delicious. All of the radical UGA fans need to take it down a notch, no TECH fans are going to be going around killing dogs (Or children, for you crazies who want to compare this cake to a child) because of this.

  • beej

At least the death of “Hypothetical Cake Ugga” was swift and relatively painless, compared to the long slow death and drawn out suffering that the real Uggas go through due to inbreeding and genetic deformity.

  • Anonymous

As a Tech graduate, I always find the UGA-GT stuff hilarious. Here’s the reality of the situation:

UGA football has completely owned GT football in recent years. No argument about it.
UGA party scene is clearly much, much better than GT. Same goes for the women situation, although GT has made meager strides in that regard in recent years.

GT academics completely owns UGA in almost every way. There are certain schools within UGA that are very much respectable, but the fact is that outside of Georgia, UGA barely registers on people’s radar in an academic sense. I have met people across the country who simply aren’t familiar with the school at all (not being college football fans), which is always surprising to the people in Georgia since we all obviously have heard of UGA.

In a similar vein, the job scene for GT grads is, on the whole, better (again, concessions must be made on both sides, such as UGA’s journalism school being well-regarded), particularly for skilled labor jobs.

My point is that the arguments above aren’t even CLOSE. It’s clear as day which school is better in these regards, yet people still want to argue on the other side of things (I’ve heard crazed GT fans making excuses about our football and parties, and crazed UGA fans arguing that their school is academically superior, and it’s absolutely ludicrous).

I sincerely wish people would give these things a rest, but I guess when it comes to college rivalries reason goes right out the window.

  • Ben

This is messed up. Tech fans are not only bad fans, they’re bad people.

    • Anonymous

Thank you Ben! WIthout you I wouldn’t have known that you can characterize an entire population of people as “bad” based on the actions of a few random individuals. Surely no UGA fan has ever done or said something stupid or inappropriate, so I guess they are all good people.

  • the mom

A gift from my daughter the UGA graduate to her Tech husband…..we also played Ramblin Wreck at the reception…oh my, the horror! It’s fondant and red velvet, get a grip people!
