NC State’s latest commercial for the upcoming football season is a winner in our book for one reason: A stellar “Little Giants” reference.
The commercial focuses on State fans and their tailgates, placing QB Mike Glennon at the grill and his offensive line in formation in front of it. Glennon calls plays at the line but, instead of tossing the pigskin, he slings hot dogs to those nearby.
At one point, though, Glennon barks out the “Annexation of Puerto Rico” – a famous trick play from the 1994 pee-wee football comedy.
The rest of the commercial? Kind of forced. But at least, the o-linemen got hot dogs out of the deal. Check the video below.
