“NC State Week” continues with a look back at last season’s stirring 56-41 victory for the Wolfpack over Maryland this past November. NC State secured the win with the second-best comeback in ACC history, erasing a 27-point, third-quarter deficit.
Mike Glennon threw five TD passes for the Wolfpack, who outscored the downtrodden Terps, 35-0, in the fourth quarter. They went ahead for good on a one-yard TD run by James Washington and the ensuing extra point with 7:08 left in the fourth quarter.
NC State, which earned bowl eligibility with the win, went on to beat Louisville 31-24 in the Belk Bowl.
