It’s “NC State Week” at Lost Lettermen, and we’ll take a look back at the Wolfpack’s 41-38 victory over Indiana in 2000.
Then-freshman QB Phil Rivers, now of the San Diego Chargers, threw five touchdown passes including a go-head toss to Koren Robinson with just under a minute remaining in the game to give NC State to provide the final margin after the two-point conversion.
The Wolfpack, who erased a 12-point deficit late in the game, then preserved the lead when Terrence Holt blocked a 37-yard field goal attempt that would have tied the game in the final seconds. Phil Rivers profile
