Star LSU DB Mathieu Gets ‘King’ Tattoo

LSU star defensive back Tyrann Mathieu ended the 2011 season with great disappointment in a national title game loss to Alabama.

But apparently he still thinks he’s the “King of the SEC.”

We assume that based on the below photo of the new tattoo on his arm, which Mathieu tweeted on Sunday. It has “King” along his forearm.

“The Honey Badger,” whose name on his Twitter account is “KING Mathieu, takes what he wants – including a throne. He tweeted earlier Monday: “Watch a boy become king! #AMEN”

    This is a prime example of stupidity and non-disciplined players in college football today. Most of the black players think body art will make them more attractive, when in fact they probably should have the alphabet and multiplication tables printed on their bodies. They’re so stupid they think they’re cool. Just what every employer wants on his payroll – tatooed, ringlet hair, gold teeth, ghetto roamers. The coaches aren’t any better for letting the players look like hoodlums, drug addicts, and rapists, which most of the college athletes are anyway. What a waste of humanity.

I don’t necessarily agree with tats, but it is their choice, just like Angelina Jolie (who according to you must also be a “ghetto roamer”) or anyone else in America. You may want to look into getting the constitution or bill of rights inked on your arm to remind you of where you live, you pig.

    Maybe the powers that be need to back off promoting him as the greatest thing on earth since he obviously believes it and thinks he is the King. One year of college football hardly qualifies a person to be King and his opinion of himself may be his downfall. He won’t be the first.

    Don’t care for the self promotion, but to play winning big time sports you have to believe that you are the best and that you are going to win every game. The second you start doubting yourself you are doomed. Perhaps the rest of us could learn a lesson here and stop selling ourselves short and sabotaging our careers, futures, and dreams due to self doubt.
    What have any of you fellow posters accomplished in life? You may not like Mathieu but we are here talking about him on a national level. Who in the world even knows each of you piss ants exists?

    My question is where did the money come from? Tattoos are expensive. We always hear about the poor college athlete that can’t afford to take his girlfriend out but then they are covered with tattoos. Hmmmm…
