Former NC State WR Torry Holt, a seven-time Pro Bowler with the St. Louis Rams, signed a one-day contract in April to retire with the Rams. He’s currently an analyst with the NFL Network.
A member of the big-play offense known as “The Greatest Show on Turf,” Holt won Super Bowl XXXIV with the Rams, whom he played for from 1999-2008. He last played in the NFL in 2009 with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Holt attempted to play in 2010 with the New England Patriots but was injured and released before the campaign.
In college, Holt was a First Team All-American for the Wolfpack as a senior in 1998, when he also was the ACC Offensive Player of the Year. He set a then-ACC record with 88 catches that season and added a school-record 16 TD catches.
