Former UCLA star running back Gaston Green returned to UCLA last summer to complete his degree so he could further a career in coaching, according to an interview with UCLA Athletics in 2011. Check the video below.
Green, 45, said last year that he was three classes short of graduation and that he would complete those requirements by the end of last summer. He remains the Bruins’ all-time leading rusher with 3,731 yards. His 40 career TDs is third in school history.
The 14th overall pick in the 1988 NFL Draft, Green played for the Los Angeles Rams and Denver Broncos until 1992.
Currently, Green lives near Atlanta, GA, where he has tried his hand at coaching and helps with the fitness of athletes. Gaston Green profile
