‘South Park’ Episode Roasts NCAA

The NCAA has once again found itself on the butt end of jokes.

It was skewered in an episode of South Park on Wednesday night, which made fun of the governing body’s treatment of its student-athletes. In fact, Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s popular cartoon even makes light of that term.

Then, the show does what it does best: Says what others think. South Park highlighted the ridiculousness of the NCAA’s relationship with its athletes, who don’t reap any of the monetary rewards, and even referenced the slave trade.

Oh, and they referred to the NCAA as the “Crack Baby Athletic Association.”

Take that, “Outside the Lines.”
