Syracuse joined the list of schools with student-created theme songs. This one, however, meandered further into the ridiculous.
Several ‘Cuse athletes wandered around campus – with the males sometimes shirtless – in a video remake by S.A.A.C (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) of “Sexy and I Know It” by LMAFO. Yeah, we know: They work out.
Check out the video below, which features a cameo from basketball coach Jim Boeheim and Orange legend Derrick Coleman.
But the highlight – lowlight? – of the video undoubtedly is when Otto the Orange, Syracuse’s costumed mascot, dances. Instead of using the word “wiggle” as in the original song, this version says: “Otto, Otto, Otto, Otto, Otto … yeah!”
Um, no.
