Stephon Marbury got his statue in China, and Dennis Rodman was there to give a speech when it was unveiled on Sunday.

Check the photos below, courtesy of Marbury on Twitter, where the former Georgia Tech and NBA star said that Rodman “showed major love with his words and dedication.”
Marbury, of course, tasted team success with the Beijing Ducks, who won their first-ever Chinese Basketball Association championship this past season with Marbury as the star player.
Labeled a coach-killer and selfish player in the NBA – among descriptions of his other antics – Marbury landed on the cover of Sports Illustrated in China and, generally, seems to be at peace with his new life in the Far East.
We’re not sure what to make of all this, so we will just congratulate Marbury on his life-sized statue and continue to wonder what Rodman has to do with any of it. Stephon Marbury profile
