Deion Sanders’ estranged wife, Pilar Sanders, was arrested on Monday, the same day that the all-time great cornerback described via Twitter his wife’s alleged attack on him.
Pilar Sanders was pinched for assault family violence, a misdemeanor, according to reports.
The estranged couple made news in March when Pilar filed a $200 million lawsuit for alleged emotional and physical abuse that included Sanders’ daughter from another relationship calling Pilar the “the number one gold digger of the year” on Twitter.
The two married in 1999 and have three children together, though it doesn’t seem to be a happy home at this point – with Sanders asking his Twitter followers Monday to “pray for me and my kids now.”
