‘Family Guy’ Song Rips State of Kentucky

Who doesn’t love “Family Guy”?

Well, after a song from Sunday’s episode, the entire state of Kentucky may raise its collective hand. Check out the video below, courtesy of Sports Grid, which is short but not safe for work.

Just in time for UK to take on Kansas in Monday’s national championship game – and in the aftermath of the Kentucky-Louisville Civil War – main character Peter Griffin unleashed the following: “Kentucky is a state/Kentucky is a state … All the people there are d***s/Kentucky is a state”

We didn’t see the episode, but Sports Grid said it was in no reference to college hoops or the state’s fans. It was just the epic randomness – though, admittedly well-timed – of a great animated comedy.

Epic, that is, if you don’t live in Kentucky.

KY isn’t that bad compared to the wonderful, tolerant, loving people of East Tennessee

I found it honestly funny because it is true for the most part.

I moved to KY and I found the people here to be rude in spite of the fact that the people here brag NONSTOP about how “polite” they are. I took my husband to the movies and he had an injured leg. These rude women were kicking his leg on purpose. I know this because they were laughing and gave a fakey half smile. I also love the women who feel the need to cut in front of me in line. When I call them on it, no apology. In fact, they get nasty. I also love it when people here let the door slam in your face when you’re carrying a heavy package too. I also just love it when a person leaves the room and everyone starts taking smack about said person. When the person in questions comes back into the room, everyone is sickeningly sweet. It’s like these people’s maturity stunted at high school! I also love it when someone makes a mistake, the person apologizes and everyone says the twangy, sickening sounding “you’re fine” but then turns around and talks smack about that person. The men here are okay I guess, until they open their mouths and make stereotypical sexist jokes. I guess it is sort of deserving since the women here are so awful. The biggest peeve I have is that the topics of conversation seldom stray from the subjects of college basketball and church. I’ve never seen anything like it! These people are certifiably insane.

says one of the d*cks from Kentucky…

Pardon my cousin Deez’s lack of a sense of humor. He’s just really sensitive about his bad attitude and doesn’t like when it’s pointed out to everyone.

I live in Kentucky and thought the song was hilarious of course unlike most I have a good sense of humor and am somewhat polite compared to meth tweakers so just about 90% of the population.
