RB Trent Richardson Attends H.S. Prom

[Update: A new video shot by ESPN has been added below.]

Ex-Alabama running back Trent Richardson followed through on his promise to take Courtney Alvis, a 17-year-old leukemia patient, to her senior prom at Hueytown High School (AL).

Check below for the video of the pair’s arrival, which looked more like a Hollywood red carpet than a high school senior prom.

Richardson said that he took Alvis to her prom out of the kindness of his heart, and not for the media attention, since his mom is also a cancer survivor.

We just hope Richardson was gently on the dance floor than he was at his recent Pro Day.

“Anonymous” is a good title for you. You Sir or Madam, should have titled yourself “lowest of the low ! “

You are sick. Is there no love in your heart? I saw the video, it was touching. Knowing some of the background of Trent Richardson, all I can say is that he is a gentleman and a Christian. His Mom should be proud of him. I know I am. Life is not always about what you take, its about what you give back. Wish you well Trent and nothing but love for Courney, continue to fight on, God will keep you strong!

    Trent,

You are a class act and I want to say this is exactly what the NFL and College Football needs right now not to mention the young lady you took time out of your life to help. You are deserving of all the success you have and will have, thank you Trent for restoring my faith in man kind!
