Angela Rypien Joins Baltimore Charm

Angela Rypien continues to follow in her father’s footsteps.

The daughter of former NFL quarterback Mark Rypien, Angela began her career under center with the Seattle Mist of the Lingerie Football League. Now she will continue it with the Baltimore Charm, a club that plays in the Washington D.C. area where her father starred and was named the MVP of Super Bowl XXII for the Washington Redskins.

Angela announced the move Friday on Twitter: “It’s Official! Im headed to Baltimore to play for the Charm! Missing Seattle already but about to BRING IT on the East Coast!”

We’ll see if Rypien can lead the Charm to a Lingerie Bowl victory next February.

Not my cup of tea. Too much to protect during the game, not to mention all the wardrobe malfunctions. Hide your kids, hide your wife… Lol.

Her father Mark is not doing well because of numerous head injuries, so much so that he has to record his conversations with family members so he can remember what was said. You’d think she would want nothing to do with the game after seeing her father’s struggles.

That is not true. Mark is doing great. He is one of the biggest fund raisers in the Inland Northwest.

As much as I love women and football, I have to say this is rediculous. Why do women allow themselves to be degraded as sex objects. Where is the protection gear. Better yet, lets dress our pro-football fellows in tight briefs, shoulder pads and leggins only with their buttocks showing on carmara for all to see, and sit back and listen to all the hateful uproar about homosexuality in the NFL. Men and women should not be on the playing field dressed like hookers/prostitutes or sex objects. But, I guess for some people sex sells.

I’m with you. Sounds like some marketing guys got together and drank too much light beer.

Well I don’t think you love women that much with a comment like that. All I want to know is when and where do the games aire, because I’m already a fan. There is two types of love, First its the kind of love you’re showing caring for a women well being and then the love I feel for them. lol

    • DC Fan

Sex not only sells…none of us would be here without it !

  • Bored Citizen

Again, the double standards. Women make such ridiculous spectacles of themselves on one hand, then complain of being “sex objects” on the other. Have your cake and eat it, too?
The female body , between certain obvious ages, can be a thing of beauty, but this is silly, degrading and offensive on too many levels.

Cheesecake with extra cheese. And how do we teach our sons to respect female athletes and women in general?

  • Big poppaD

First off,for you idiots who think that these women are degrading themselves becauseTHEY choose to play football speaks loudly to real men whether we choose to watch them or not, about you clowns who are afraid of a woman who stand up for what she want. It’s guys like youwho degrade these women cause you wouldn’t be man enough for a woman like them on or off the feel.An for you women who feel like they are degrading you, well stay out of the mirror,an as to how do you teach your son’s how to respect woman by teaching them that despite what a woman wear,or what profession she chooses that she is still a woman an that he should treat her,or them as they treat you,or maybe the way you would like for them to treat you as a woman.Women can’t teach boys how to be a man,but you can teach them how a woman should be treated,an respected. That would go a long way.

  • KEEP

I have not problem with women playing football, but come on. This kind of dress is for pure sexual gratification and attracting the crowd for the $. If women wanted to maintain equality and stand up for what they believe in, then put on some uniforms and start kicking some butt without all the sexual connection.

    • mrad

They already kick butt, and play too win

I can’t wait to see the “Old Timers” game.

  • sick of cry babies

I dont see the women on the LFL teams complaining… I dont see their bank accounts complaining… woman just want to control everything as usual. they got rid of the oldest profession, they hate on other woman who strip, they hate on any other woman that is better than them. The men who are complaining homosexual or have nothing better in their lives to complain about.

Need to correct who the MVP of that Super bowl was.
