MU’s Johnson-Odom Flips in Crazy Shot

Marquette was completely off its game in Thursday night’s 68-58 loss to Florida in the Sweet 16. In fact, the Golden Eagles shot a putrid 30.8% from the field, including 6-of-21 from three-point range.

But guard Darius Johnson-Odom – who was 5-of-15 from the floor – did get one high-difficulty shot to fall, even if it didn’t count.

Check the GIF below – courtesy of The Big Lead – of Johnson-Odom, who drove to the basket in the first half and threw up a reverse layup with so much backspin that it spun back into the hoop from the top of the backboard.

The Gators, who used a frantic pressing style to disrupt the Golden Eagles all night, had no defense for the that.
