Purdue’s Joe Barry Carroll who was famously acquired for Robert Parish and Kevin McHale, is now an investment adviser and currently resides in Atlanta. In 2008 he filed a discrimination suit against an Atlanta tavern, claiming he and a friend were asked to leave their seats for two white women because both men were black.
