With National Anthem Controversy In Past, Chris Jackson Playing In Japan At Age 40

Chris Jackson, now Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, won back to back SEC Player of the Year awards during his two seasons at LSU. But you probably know him best for refusing to stand during the national anthem when he was in the NBA. Today he’s still playing at age 40 with Japan’s Kyoto Hannaryz and contributed 12 points in a recent win. Chris Jackson profile
