Ohio State’s Brent Johnson answers fan questions about Bo Pelini, who he keeps in touch with and this weekend’s Penn State game.
Q: I read you think Bo Pelini should be OSU’s next coach. Do you still think that considering the way Nebraska’s offense has struggled this year? The Bucks need an O-minded coach! – Brutus41
A: I don’t necessarily think the head coach has to be the offensive coordinator. I still think Bo would a fine coach whenever Tressel decides his time here is done.
Q: Hey Brent! Which of your teammates do you still keep in touch with? – JazO
A: There’s quite a few — Bryan Cook, Raymont Harris, Rod Smith, Obie Stillwell, Bobby Olive . There’s a bunch of people around.
Q: We’re getting 0 respect for the Penn State game. What’s your prediction? Thx!
A: I expect us to win the game.
I expect us to play aggressively defensively. I still expect our defense to stop the run. I expect us to get pressure on the quarterback and force them to pass quickly.
Offensively, I would hope that we would continue to run the same offense that we ran last week—multiple formations, different receivers.
I love Jordan Hall at running back. He has great vision.
I still expect us to win out.
