With National Signing Day in the rear-view mirror, the money spent on recruiting was revealed by businessofcollegesports.com with Tennessee topping the list with expenses of $2.296 million for men’s and women’s recruiting.
As one might expect, the SEC – considered the best conference in college football – has six of the Top 10 biggest spenders.
Auburn came in second at $2.117 million, while Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Arkansas also were among the 10 leaders.
