ESPN announcer Jimmy Dykes, a former Arkansas basketball player, had a painful homecoming in Fayetteville on Thursday night.
Alabama freshman guard Levi Randolph dump-trucked Dykes with less than 10 minutes remaining in the second half, when he poked the ball loose near midcourt and dove into ESPN’s sideline table to attempt to save the rock.
Unfortunately, he creamed Dykes in the process, sending papers flying and providing viewers with an audible crunch as bodies and equipment clashed. Check the link below for the video.
To make matters worse for Dykes’ inner Razorback, the Crimson Tide posted a 79-68 victory.
