Former Georgetown guard Victor Page, a teammate of Allen Iverson’s with the Hoyas, was in the news after being arrested for fourth degree burglary in Prince George’s County, MD, on July 31, 2011.
Page, who comes from a tough Washington D.C. neighborhood, was not selected in the 1997 NBA draft after teams targeted him as a risky pick. He was a standout for the Hoyas, for whom he led the Big East in scoring in 1996-97 and was a member of the ’96 Elite Eight team with Allen Iverson. He played in the CBA briefly for the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
In 2003, Page was shot in the eye in his old D.C. neighborhood. He now wears an eye patch and doesn’t look well in the this mug shot from his recent arrest.
The Hoyas, who are ranked in the Top 10 in both polls, lost to Seton Hall on Tuesday night. They will play Villanova on Saturday. Victor Page profile
