Colorado defensive lineman Will Pericak was arrested Sunday after he allegedly lit trash and papers inside a metal bucket on fire at the Pearl Street Pub in Boulder, CO, according to the The Daily Camera.
The report said that Pericak, 21, was arrested for suspicion of physical harassment and trespassing. The fire was put out with no damage to the bar, the newspaper said, but Pericak refused to leave when confronted by a bartender.
Citing police, the report said that Pericak “started swearing and walked aggressively towards the bartender” then gave the bartender a chest-bump, according to the bartender’s description of the events.
Pericak was a junior last season, when he was fourth on the team in tackles with 64 in 13 games.
A Colorado spokesman told the newspaper that Buffs coach Jon Embree is aware of the arrest but is waiting for a resolution in the case.
