Former LSU quarterback Matt Mauck, who led the Tigers to the 2003 BCS national title, recently graduated from the University of Colorado’s School of Dental Medicine. He was even profiled by a local Denver news station in July.
Mauck was a seventh-round pick of the Denver Broncos in 2004. He played in the NFL for the Broncos and Tennessee Titans from 2004-07.
The 32-year-old Mauck is on his third career. He played minor-league baseball in the Chicago Cubs’ organization before turning to football and now a career as a dentist.
Mauck, like everyone else, will be tuned in Saturday, when the top two teams in the BCS rankings, LSU and Alabama, face off in Tuscaloosa. Matt Mauck profile
