On Saturday night, LSU punter Brad Wing will play a key part in field position at Bryant-Denney Stadium in Tuscaloosa, AL.
The stadium is named in part for Paul “Bear” Bryant, the legendary former Crimson Tide coach who won six national titles and is hailed as a god in the aforementioned town in which the school is located.
Wing, an Australian import, couldn’t put his finger on exactly why Bryant was important.
“Sounds familiar, but should I know?” Wing said, according to ESPN.com.
We hope that Tide defensive lineman Jesse Williams, an import from Brisbane, Australia, has a little bit of an idea.
